Motorists to face new toll charges?

Under plans to be actively considered by the Government to raise extra revenue from roads,  it looks as if commuters who travel  from Mullingar to Dublin on a daily basis could find themselves paying double toll charges every time they go to or from work in the city.

On Saturday last, July 17, “Black Corner” in Streamstown was transformed into an arena of celebration as residents and visitors prepared for the Tidy Village day, which featured the Tidy Village Pig on a Spit, bouncing castle, live music and a host of other entertainment. Celebrations continued on well into the night with more music and a raffle, with prizes sponsored by local businesses.
